Low FODMAP recipes

Recipes that are gentle on your gut, not brutal on your tastebuds.

A curated collection of low FODMAP recipes across Indian, Chinese, Mexican, African and European cuisines. Built for people who want flavour, comfort, and food that still feels like them.

Built from lived experience with Ulcerative Colitis, Monash guidance, and a lot of trial and error in a real kitchen.

Why this page exists

Low FODMAP food should still taste like real food.

Most low FODMAP recipe pages flatten food into beige mush. Biomy is different. These recipes are designed to be gentler on sensitive guts while still respecting the spices, techniques, and flavours that make food feel like home.

A quick note

What makes a recipe low FODMAP?

Low FODMAP eating is usually less about removing all flavour and more about making smarter swaps. Think garlic-infused oil instead of garlic cloves, the green tops of spring onions instead of onions, lactose-free dairy where needed, and portion-aware use of ingredients that can be tolerated in smaller amounts.

Biomy recipes are designed to be practical, culturally inclusive, and grounded in the reality that people do not just eat grilled chicken and sad rice forever.

Everyone's triggers are different. These recipes are a starting point, not medical advice.
